Throughout the year, we host special events, book signings, receptions, fundraisers, tours, exhibit gallery openings, rotating exhibits, and more. Monthly Events
Second Sundays
Join the Homesteader Museum on the Second Sunday, October through May, for history and handicrafts Stop by and enjoy the casual, open house style afternoon from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
Homesteader Book Club
Read and discuss books written by Wyoming Authors. Meets the last Friday of each Month at 9:00 am.
Homesteader Days Festival
The museum hosts the Homesteader Days Festival annually on the 2nd Saturday in September. This event celebrates the days of homesteading and farming with a vintage truck and tractor show, antique machinery demonstrations, activities, food, and music. Fun for all ages!
Farm to Table
September 12th, 2025 at the Park County Fairgrounds from 6pm – 9pm
The Farm to Table Fundraising Dinner is an event for guests 21 and older. This year’s dinner will be prepared by Sarah Bear’s Farmhouse Kitchen, which sources ingredients from local farms and businesses in the Big Horn Basin. People come together for an outdoor dining experience and to enjoy each other’s company while eating farm-fresh food.

WYO Gives
Mark your calendars for July 16, 2025. It will be a day for everyone to support our campaign. The real success of WyoGives will not be how much money we raise but the tremendous impact those dollars will have when nonprofits like us across the community put them to work!
